American Heart Month with IDG
The Month for Love
When you think about the month of February you probably jump straight to the thought of Valentine’s Day and heart shaped boxes of chocolates. Did you know that February is also American Heart Month? At Inflatable Design Group we had the privilege of partnering with Interactive Exhibits to create an inflatable interactive heart. Heart disease is the #1 cause of death in the United States totaling more than 600,000 deaths per year. Our inflatable heart has been travelling the country teaching people of all ages why they should love their heart and how to keep a healthy heart. Using custom inflatables as an educational tool has been greatly received and we look forward to manufacture more inflatables to educate and teach others! We take pride in being able to help others with this awesome looking inflatable custom heart.
How It Works
The better you know how your heart works, the easier it is to make sure you stay healthy throughout your life. The inflatable heart is used as an education tool to help teach people about all the elements of the human heart. The inflatable heart exhibit enables your senses through sight and touch to learn about the heart. When going through the exhibit you can see and feel the features of the heart like the chambers and the paths of blood flow. The inflatable heart includes LED lights to represent how the blood flows through the heart and the ways blood flow changes due to heart disease. Visitors to the exhibit get to experience firsthand what the effects of heart infection, heart disease, plaque buildup, bypass and so much more have on the heart with our inflatable exhibit.
How to Help
The main goal of the inflatable heart is to assist people in understanding the importance of leading a healthy life. We learned so much from creating this inflatable and working with Interactive Exhibits. Since February is American Heart Month there no better time to start living a heart healthy life. Take control of your life and know how to prevent heart disease. Here are some steps to ensuring you stay heart healthy.
