Brand inflatables are becoming one of the most effective ways for companies to not only show off their message but get people to feel it. Inflatables are flexible enough to work across industries and event types, and the results speak for themselves.
Mascot Inflatables: A Face For Your Brand
Mascot replicas are a popular and successful type of brand inflatables. A great example of this is Pizza Pete, the mascot for The Slice Spot, a mobile pizza concept that sets up in Walmart parking lots and whose goal is to pull people in from across the crowded lot. IDG built a giant inflatable replica of Pizza Pete that stands right next to the truck, waving down people and welcoming them to come check out what is going on.

The result is people walking over, posing for a picture with the mascot, getting some pizza, and posting their picture on social media. This creates organic reach for The Slice Spot that your company didn’t even have to pay for!
Product Replicas: Show Off the Detail Of Your Product
Brand inflatables are not just for consumer-facing activations. They are equally powerful at industry tradeshows and other business-to-business settings. For example, we collaborated with Nanosonics to bring to life a giant inflatable replica of their Trophon tool. This medical device is used for ultrasound prob disinfection.

This giant Nanosonic inflatable replica stands tall next to the team’s booth, drawing people in. Once people are at the booth, the Nanosonics team can walk them through the device in detail, pointing to specific parts on the inflatable replica to explain how everything works. This helps people not only understand the product, but remember the company long after the event ends.

Campaign Inflatables: When Brand Inflatables Become the Story
Campaign inflatables are another great way for brands can get their message out by using inflatables. IDG collaborated with The Honest Kitchen on their “The Best Isn’t Always the Prettiest” campaign, timed to coincide with the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City.

For this campaign, IDG created two 20-foot inflatable dogs, a French Bulldog and an English Bulldog, that were loaded onto a barge and cruised the Hudson River before being installed at a busy square located outside the Javits Center, where the dog show was held. The campaign was built around the idea that real dogs, with all their imperfections, deserve better food and more honest care than the show world’s narrow standards suggest.
As TrendHunter noted, inflatable marketing strategies like this one prioritize engagement over visual perfection, allowing brands to disrupt traditional advertising and connect emotionally with audiences. When the installation moved from the river to the square, it kept generating foot traffic, photos, and conversation. That is a campaign that lives beyond its media.
Branded Event Decor That Does More Than Fill Space
Branded inflatables are also great at making an empty space feel completely on-brand the moment someone walks in. IDG has built giant Seahawks spheres for a team-sponsored event, a massive soccer ball for ExPcon, a branded Uber football for an Uber One Super Bowl activation, and a textured Sephora wall for a holiday gifting event. Each of these served the same purpose: transforming a venue into an environment that tells a brand story without anyone needing to read a single word.

Branded inflatable event décor is especially useful for sponsors and partners who want a presence at an event without interrupting the flow of it. These branded inflatables feel like they are part of the event, rather than just an ad. That distinction matters a lot when you are trying to connect with an audience that has learned to tune out traditional advertising.
Inflatable Tents and Pavilions
IDG has also worked with brands to create inflatable tents and pavilions for brand events. We worked with Cuties, the beloved citrus brand, to create a custom inflatable tent that allowed the brand to show up at youth sports games in an eye-catching space and hand out samples.

Parents and kids gravitated toward the tent. It was inviting and the branding was clear, making the sampling experience feel like a fun stop rather than a sales pitch.
Inflatable tents and pavilions work because they turn any open space into owned territory for your brand. You control the colors, the signage, the scale, and the experience happening inside. Whether it is a sampling station, a merch drop, or a hospitality setup, an inflatable tent makes it feel intentional and memorable.

Interactive Brand Inflatables Give People Something To Do
Interactive brand inflatables are a great way for you to get your brand noticed and remembered. When someone bounces on your branded inflatable, kicks a field goal through a branded field goal kick, or slides down your product, they associate your brand with a good time. IDG built a giant Alo Yoga bounce inflatable used at wellness events that drew lines of people eager to jump in. We also built a custom dual football kick-toss game for the Chad Powers premiere, creating a moment that fit the character’s whole over-the-top football persona perfectly.

Custom slides, games, and bounce structures all give people a reason to engage with your brand beyond just looking at it. That kind of physical engagement creates a memory that a static display can’t. And when those moments get photographed and shared, the brand awareness extends well beyond the event floor.
Why Brand Inflatables Work Across Every Industry
The most effective brand activations are the ones people experience rather than just observe. These inflatables get photographed and posted on social media, spreading your brand awareness.
IDG has worked with brands across food and beverage, healthcare, sports, entertainment, fashion, and more. The industries are different, but the goal is always the same, turn a brand message into something real that people can see, touch, and feel.
If you have a campaign, an event, or a brand message that deserves more than a banner, we want to hear about it. IDG’s team specializes in taking brand ideas and turning them into inflatables that get noticed, get shared, and get results. Our lead time is 6 or more weeks, so the sooner you reach out, the better.
