Every brand party starts with the same problem: a blank room. Whether it is a giant warehouse in New York or a patch of sand in the desert for Coachella, the space does not automatically feel like your brand and traditional builds can take weeks, cost a fortune, and still not be as impressive visually as you would like. Inflatable event décor is one of the most practical and high-impact solutions for brands that need to transform a space fast, fully, and without the logistical headache that comes with heavy, rigid structures.

At Inflatable Design Group, every piece is custom-made. This means that there is no one-size-fits all template driving your creative direction. If you can sketch it, we can sew it and bring it to life.
Filling Large Scale Venues with Inflatable Event Decor
A great examples of what inflatable event décor can do at scale is the work IDG has done with the Robin Hood Foundation for their annual benefit gala. This event takes place every year in a massive industrial warehouse in New York City.

For this high-end fundraiser, the goal is to fill the massive, industrial warehouse space and transform it into an elegant, sophisticated gala environment that fits the theme of that year’s gala. Over the years these inflatables have ranged from multiple different sized clouds, to cartoon versions of NYC’s most well-known landmarks, to inflatable sports symbols.
Once deflated, even the largest inflatable installations compress down into manageable bags, cutting shipping costs compared to rigid props. Learn more about these event decor inflatables in our blog
Adding Texture with Branded Inflatables
For a Sephora product launch, IDG built a custom textured inflatable backwall that served as the visual centerpiece of the event. It had dimension, depth, and a surface that stood out and looked interesting in photos, all while bringing attention the to makeup’s brand name.

When every guest, influencer, and media outlet has a camera in their hand at your event, a 3D textured inflatable wall makes your brand stand out. It gives people something worth photographing and posing in front of while also giving your brand a presence in all of the content.
This branded inflatable was built to match Sephora’s existing visual identity, down to the exact color of the fabric used. That level of customizable is what ties the event together and helps remind everyone why they are there.
Inflatable Event Decor That Guests Actually Want to Interact With
There is a difference between décor guests look at versus décor guests interact with. Interactive elements tend to keep people around longer, generate more content, and create a stronger connection to the brand.

Alo Yoga leaned into that for a wellness event hosted by the brand during Miami Art Basel with a custom branded bounce house. It fit the brand’s tone by looking premium, being health-forward, and adding a playful element to the activation while also giving attendees something to actually do at the event. The result was a branded interactive space that people gravitated toward and photographed without being prompted.

The Chad Powers movie premiere used the same logic in a different way. IDG built a custom inflatable football kick/toss game that gave premiere guests a chance to get in on the action and show off their football skills. It was branded, it was fun, and it gave people a reason to hang around the activation longer than they otherwise would have.
Turning a Product Launch Into an Event
Inflatable event décor can turn a standard launch event into something people actually seek out and hangout at.

For Celsius, IDG built a custom snow globe large enough for guests to step inside. It put people directly into the Celsius brand environment, which is more memorable than handing somebody a sample and moving on. For a product launch built around energy and experience, the immersive element made the launch a memorable event.

For Cacti Seltzer, the goal was visibility when the brand launched at Pink Dot liquor store in Los Angeles. A giant inflatable Cacti logo installed outside the retail space made the launch impossible to miss and brought attention to the brand and location. It turned a product release into an event and could be spotted from far away.
Inflatables That Travel with You for Nonprofits
For nonprofits and organizations that move from event to event, the portability of inflatables is one of the most practical benefits. IDG worked with the Count On Me nonprofit organization to make multiple branded interactive inflatables. These inflatables all pack down into bags, load easily, and are ready to set up again and again with no heavy equipment or complicated logistics. That is huge for a nonprofit organization like Count On Me who hosts multiple awareness events a year in different locations.

Similarly, we manufactured a giant inflatable couch for the Joy to Life foundation. This inflatable was a big, welcoming, highly photographic centerpiece that gave attendees a fun moment to document and share at events. For an organization that depends on social reach to get its message out, the shareability of an inflatable couch does all the work.
