Inflatable Heart Exhibits for American Heart Month
Last month was American Heart Month! So, here at IDG, we support heart-healthy causes in the best way we know how: inflatables! This blog is all about heart and other inflatable medical exhibits. In addition, keep reading to find out ways to get involved during American Heart Month. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for Americans with about 647,000 deaths each year (cdc.gov). IDG does its part by partnering with groups like Interactive Exhibits to create educational inflatable hearts! The following pictures and paragraphs will explain the exhibits in detail, and our Medical Exhibits page contains more examples, so check it out!
Inflatable Design Group worked with Interactive Exhibits to create an awesome inflatable walk-through heart exhibit. So, go check out Interactive Exhibits’ AmeriHeart page for information about the inflatable! According to the article, “the AmeriHeart inflatable heart exhibit by Interactive Exhibits offers many features that can engage children and adults alike”. In addition, IDG’s Medical Exhibits page includes more inflatable heart pictures along with other exhibits! For the inflatable heart pictured below, our talented artists made the organ as accurate as possible to ensure high educational value. As you can see, the heart is shaped anatomically correct rather than the popular “♡” shape. Furthermore, the AmeriHeart inflatable heart highlights important heart issues by representing them in the inflatable. For example, we included plaque buildup and a septal defect as part of the inflatable exhibit! So, contact us today to see what educational inflatable is in store for you!
Inside the Inflatable Heart
One of the best parts about this inflatable exhibit is the ability to walk through it! IDG really puts the “interactive” into interactive inflatables. Event attendees around and through the inflatable heart exhibit, getting a full educational experience. In addition, the interactivity of this inflatable creates helps solidify important information in viewers’ minds. Whether it’s an adult or child, any participant will walk away from this inflatable heart exhibit learning something new! Furthermore, interactive medical exhibits are perfect for health-related or educational events! As you can see in the picture below, the inside of the interactive heart inflatable is just as detailed as the outside. For example, the inside of this exhibit includes plaque buildup as well as endocarditis! Learn more about heart disease on the CDC’s website. In addition, learn more about what IDG can do for you by checking out our Medical Exhibits page!
Inflatable Heart Education
As mentioned before, IDG’s inflatable heart exhibit is a perfect educational opportunity. To highlight some of the educational parts of the inflatable, keep reading and check out Interactive Exhibits’ article! As you can see in the picture below, the inflatable heart exhibit includes features such as the obtuse marginal branch artery, right auricular appendage, and many more. Furthermore, these important features include adjacent cards full of additional information. This way, viewers don’t need any brochure or guide to receive all the important information from the heart exhibit. In addition, the labels and information cards wrap 360 degrees around the inflatable, giving event-goers the opportunities to learn something new about the heart from any angle. So, for your next health-related or educational event, consider Inflatable Design Group‘s medical exhibits!
Vertical Heart Inflatable
In addition to the walk-through inflatable heart exhibit, the talented IDG team created a vertical heart inflatable! This exhibit featured an educational experience with the interior of a human heart. As you can see in the picture below, the many valves, atriums, and arteries are represented in the detailed inflatable. Furthermore, medical inflatables such as this are perfect for educational or health-related events. For example, this vertical inflatable heart has been utilized in the 2018 Safety Connect Health Fair as well as the NAACP Convention. People at these events could walk up to any side of the inflatable and learn a new heart fact. In addition, this inflatable would be an excellent addition to an anatomy class, giving participants the opportunity to see their textbook come to life! Light It Up!
Another awesome feature of IDG’s educational inflatable heart exhibit is the colored lights that represent blood flow! We integrated color-coded lights to travel throughout the veins, arteries, and valves of the inflatable. The long strips of LED lights are made to represent blood flowing in certain directions. As a result, the inflatable is even more interactive and realistic! Imagine students visualizing the anatomy of the heart in such an exciting way! In addition, the lights will catch event-goers eyes and draw them to the area. Therefore, this inflatable medical exhibit is an excellent way to draw attention to your booth at a fair or convention! IDG has created many more awesome inflatable exhibits, so check them out on our medical exhibits page! So, don’t wait! Contact us today for a free estimate on your own inflatable exhibit!
As you can see in the video below, the inflatable heart exhibit lights up the show! The red lights correspond with the red areas of the inflatable and the blue lights correspond with the blue inflatable sections. Therefore, both lights are running at the same time without confusing the viewers. Also, this makes it possible to better represent the constant inward and outward flow of blood throughout the human heart. For average adults, a normal resting heart rate is between 60 and 100 beats per minute. With this exhibit, IDG made it possible to view this in an interesting, educational, interactive way! So, check out the video below to see the inflatable in action. In addition, IDG’s Youtube channel includes more cool videos, go take a look!
