Adorable, iconic, and impossible to miss, the five-story Doro inflatable made waves, literally, during the Goddess of Victory: Nikke Summer Tour when she floated downt he Hudson River in New York City, turning heads and winning hearts while promoting the hit mobile Game.
Doro, the adorable mascot from Goddess of Victory: Nikke, turned the Hudson River into her runway during the mobile game’s 2025 Summer Tour. This giant Doro inflatable quickly became one of the most recognizable faces in New York City, charming gamers and non-gamers alike.
For the tour, game publisher Level Infinite and Goddess of Victory: Nikke wanted to create a buzzworthy moment in NYC. Inflatable Design Group’s team brought Doro to lie as a 700-pound, five-story inflatable mascot laying on a cute floaty, mounted her to a barge, and sent her on a two-day cruise through the five boroughs. It was cute and it was definitely eye-catching.
If you’re not familiar with Nikke, it is a sci-fi, third-person shooter mobile game that mixes sleek anime visuals with post-apocalyptic storytelling. Players control a group of all-female wizards called “Nikkes,” who battle against robotic alien invaders. Think action-packed chaos meets stylized character design. Doro is a loveable side character and mascot in the Nikke universe who adds a splash of comic relief and charm to the intense storyline and fans adore her.
The Doro inflatable stunt was widely covered, with features from Dexerto, Esports.gg, Essential Japan, and others. It was also posted all over social media by fans and curious onlookers.
On Reddit, the Nikke and NYCFC fandoms shared a playful rivalry. After NYCFC launched their own giant inflatable pigeon for a recent stunt (which we also made!), one fan wrote:
“NYCFC: ‘our giant inflatable pigeon is the craziest thing you’ll see being towed down the waterway’ Nikke: ‘Hold my Doro.’”
We’ve done barge inflatables before, like Tuca & Bertie for Adult Swim, Chester Cheetah cruising through New Orleans during the big football game, and of course, NYCFC’s five-story pigeon. But Doro? She brought her own kind of energy.
Designed to match her pixel-perfect style from the game, this inflatable version of Doro had her signature cheeks, pastel pink body, giant bow, and sweet expression. She was every bit as lovable in real life as she is in the game, only about 60 feet taller.
